Anne Kauffmann
Marketing Director
Anne Kauffmann joined The French Pastry School at City Colleges of Chicago as Marketing Manager in March 2005, becoming Marketing Director in January, 2009. She oversees a range of responsibilities at the school, including advertising and public relations activities, directing all aspects of the creation, development, and implementation of the school’s marketing materials. Anne also manages sponsor relations and special events. Born in Paris, France and fluent in the French language, Anne brings with her an innate knowledge and love of the culture that she applies to her day-to-day responsibilities. Anne assists in organizing and implementing events through Pastry Chicago in addition to overseeing the creation of all its promotional and informational materials. Pastry Chicago is a volunteer association bringing together all who are passionate about pastry through events and competitions. Pastry Chicago welcomes amateurs, students, and professionals uniting schools and businesses throughout the Chicagoland community. Anne also manages the marketing and public relations activities with The French Pastry School’s Scholarship Foundation, For the Love of Chocolate, and she is a member of the French-American Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining The French Pastry School, Anne spent a total of seven years in various departments at the technology infrastructure provider, Forsythe Technology, Inc. She joined Forsythe’s marketing department on a full-time basis upon graduation from St. Norbert College in May, 2003. Anne studied abroad at The American University and at the Sorbonne in Paris, France her junior year of college. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business and Language Area Studies with a double major in French from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin.
