Guidelines for Applying to The French Pastry School
The French Pastry School of Kennedy-King College at City Colleges of Chicago is pleased to accept international students to its full-time programs, the 24-week L'Art de la Pâtisserie and the 16-week L'Art du Gâteau. International Students are required to take a few additional steps in the application process. Please see below for details.

Students from countries where English is not the official language must take either the TOEFL or the IELTS.
The TOEFL examination is accepted with:
500 on the paper-based test, or
173 on the computer-based test, or
61 on the Internet-based test with a minimum of 15 points in each test category
The IELTS examination is accepted with a 5.5 or better cumulative band score, with no less than 5.0 in any subject area.
