Students begin their careers
The French Pastry School |
March 28, 2017

Our students receive hundreds of hours of intensive, hands-on education every term. The goal of The French Pastry School is not only to teach students the techniques and theories behind gaining a new skill but also to make sure they can translate that skill into a successful career.

On Monday, March 27th, companies from all sectors of foodservice and hospitality came to The French Pastry School actively seeking to recruit recent and soon-to-be French Pastry School graduates for positions.  Students were able to converse face-to-face with potential employers, schedule stages and internships, and submit resumes and applications.  Organizations recruiting included fine-dining restaurants, bakeries, hotels and resorts, caterers and supermarkets, just to name a few.   The French Pastry School focuses on training students to be organized, efficient, and professional in the kitchen, making our students a hot commodity in the culinary workforce. With 7 job opportunities for each full-time graduate, this fair reflects the marketability of French Pastry School students and the strength of the career opportunities in the food world today.
