After the great success of his first class, Chef Christophe Michalak returns to The French Pastry School this year to once again amaze and enlighten his students with his celebrated winter-themed desserts. Some of the innovative recipes you will learn include the Vacherin Paradisiaque (with several exotic fruit flavors), Finger Pamplemousse, plus Brownies à la Pistache. You will also create his Michalak Burger (with lemon and mandarin orange flavors), Rocher Plaza, cake with maple syrup,  Tiramisu moderne, and much more.  Your desserts will culminate in a dazzling buffet representing the most imaginative and pleasing combinations of flavors and textures.

Christophe Michalak has demonstrated his passion, drive and desire to surprise and re-invent the classics of the French pastries. He is the pioneer of countless tempting creations such as the Peach Melba Macaroon or the striking and championship-winning Oréade.  Michalak won the prestigious World Pastry Championship in 2005 (the title is held over a period of two years) and continues to thrive in discovering and experimenting with new sweet territories within the Plaza Athénée in Paris. Previously, Michalak has worked all over the world, from New York to London, Brussels, and Japan. He’s worked with world-renowned chefs such as Pierre Hermé and Philippe Conticini.
